Our Method

It’s not really dry until our instruments say that it’s dry! We use high tech moisture meters to determine if water has been eliminated from every possible material. Many companies may guess and hope that materials are dry without really knowing for sure. When this happens the possibility of permanent damage or mold escalates dramatically. We know how to prevent mold and bacterial growth, while preserving everything we can. We are trained in particularly messy situations like sewage spills and black water, and can be trusted to handle any emergency water situation.
Our water restoration technicians undergo rigorous schooling to obtain an IICRC in order to learn the proper way to measure and record all wet surfaces that they may encounter in a water restoration job. We also guarantee all water restoration jobs for one year. When your house is at risk choose a company that knows the proper methodology that is required.

Our Pricing

Carpet Masters uses prices that are set by the Insurance Industry. These prices can be found in the “Blue Book” which is published and updated yearly. If your water damage incident is covered by your insurance policy, you will only be responsible for your deductible.
Our certified water technician will collect your deductible on his initial visit. Once your deductible is paid, we will work directly with your insurance company for further billing and to return your home to its pre-loss condition.

Water Restoration FAQ’s

Do I need an estimate before you start drying things out?

Often the amount of the dry out is unknown; however, our pricing is based on a standardized pricing for the industry.

Will I have mold?

This is a very big concern. Carpet Masters has spent a lot of time and money on education and equipment to become qualified in water damage restoration. In most cases if the drying process can be started fairly quickly, you generally do not need to be concerned with mold.

Is it okay to keep the equipment running or do I need to do something with it?

The equipment we use is capable of running for months without being shut off. They will not overheat and should be fine. If you hear or smell anything which seems not to be normal, please unplug the equipment in question and call us immediately at 303-441-9555 or 970-498-9555. Our technician will be checking all equipment and dry out progress on a regular basis.

How do you know everything is dry?

We use high tech moisture meters designed to specifically check for proper moisture content. We will not repair or cover up any areas which may still be wet. We are trained and certified in water damage assuring you the homeowner, of the best quality service and giving you the peace of mind that it will be dried out properly.

The equipment you have running is making the air feel muggy; can I open a window or door to let in fresh air?

Our equipment is increasing the rate of evaporation causing the air to feel wet. Part of our monitoring process includes checking both conditions indoors and out. If our technicians instruct you to open some windows that may mean the conditions outside will help the drying process; otherwise, with the use of our high tech. Dehumidifiers you will notice much dryer conditions in 24 to 48 hours.
